Engaging Leadership Programs for Team Success
MTM offers fully customized development programs designed to meet the needs of teams and high-potential leaders, whether for individual or group sessions. Participants have the option to collaborate directly with Dr. Maddalena as co-instructors or serve as supportive observers to engage and encourage team members. Popular workshops include “Connecting to Lead,” which focuses on teamwork and leadership development through peer interaction, and “Presenting and Selling,” a session that teaches effective influence strategies during one-on-one or group meetings. Other workshops cover key skills like communication for performance improvement, executive presence, and self-coaching, tailored for both introverts and extroverts.
MTM also hosts group and special events, including outdoor activities like hula hoop competitions and indoor team-building exercises like the “Tall Ship” challenge. These events are designed to foster teamwork, collaboration, and trust within your organization, breaking down communication barriers and strengthening relationships across departments. CONNECTING TO LEAD
Participants work in small groups to share stories and impressions of their internship at your f irm. The focus is on building teamwork and understanding the role of a team leader. Participants report they have enjoyed engaging with peers in this humorous learning experience and gaining a better understanding of the organization’s history and culture.
PRESENTING AND SELLING
How to position yourself to influence others in a one-to-one meeting or with a group. Learn to identify the benefits of the product/service to the individuals or teams you meet with. Track the conversation through the five phases of a conversation to achieve your goal.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS TO IMPROVE PERFORMANCE
A short seminar reviewing critical communication skills to manage and inspire performance and meet assigned goals. Topics include engaging others, providing feedback, managing anger, and accepting change.
EXECUTIVE PRESENCE: HOW TO CREATE YOUR IMAGE
A workshop designed for the leader who does not recognize how they are viewed by others. Addressing topics for introverts and extroverts, special attention is given to self-coaching, recognizing fear and insecurity, as well as the imposter syndrome.
GROUP EVENTS
Outdoor: Dr. Maddalena often works with groups outside of the office. For example, she recently brought 60 women to an outdoor park for an hour of hula hoop competitions before returning to the office site to debrief teamwork, competition, risk, and challenge. o Indoor: Working in small groups of 5-8, large teams compete in the popular activities such as the TALL SHIP challenge.
